Gaborone: BancABC on Tuesday 09 July 2019 introduced a new addition to its bouquet of offerings by way of an online banking platform during an event held at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC). BancOnline, as the digital platform is known, brings with it the opportunity for customers to manage their accounts anywhere, anytime. The service is designed to cater for Business and SME customers.
Shortly after the listing on the local stock exchange in December 2018, BancABC successfully improved the availability, reliability and efficiency of its Core Banking system; upgraded its Card and ATM platforms; and opened four new Service Centres in Molepolole, Kanye, Letlhakane and Ghanzi. The addition of the online platform is yet another proof point of the Bank’s commitment to improving to suit its customers’ needs and wants.
BancABC Managing Director, Kgotso Bannalotlhe, said during the launch event, “The Bank remains focused on building and augmenting an improved customer value proposition – better customer service and a complete and more relevant product offering delivered in a convenient manner via a complementary distribution strategy led by digital capability.”
Also present at the launch event was African Banking Corporation Holdings Group CEO, Sanjeev Anand who when speaking on the Bank’s dedication to its customer said, “This is a momentous occasion for the Bank in its journey of growth.
