The incumbent will be expected to act as a trusted business advisor to provide and deliver financial and operational support to Wholesale Banking business and assist to drive informed decisions that adds value and impacts the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate relevant information and process credit applications in line with bank policy.
- Provide expert advice in structuring of lending transactions in line with the Bank’s risk appetite and culture.
- Ensure the function is audit-ready at all times.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, displaying sound abilities to communicate at all levels.
- Act in an ethical, transparent and morally defensible manner, including highlighting unethical practices.
Key requirements for this role
- Bachelors’ Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking & Finance or CIMA/CFA.
- 3+ years’ corporate credit experience.
Senior Reporting Manager – Finance Department
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day financial reporting process of the Bank, ensuring that accurate information is processed, gathered and disseminated to the correct people, at the right time, to enable users to make decisions that adds value and impacts the business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic creation and continuous improvement of Financial Reporting processes.
- Timely management of accurate accounts payable and Balance sheet reporting.
- Ensure Compliance with local statutory laws and regulations.
- Review the preparation of monthly financial accounts for the bank for distribution to management on a timely basis.
- Provide support to Financial Controller in financial planning activities to ensure operations are in line with approved annual budgets.
- Governance, risk and compliance management.
- Stakeholder relationship management.
- Team leadership, management and mentoring.
- Effective teamwork, leadership, self-management and alignment with the bank’s values.
Key requirements for this role
- Degree in Finance or Accounting with ACCA/CIMA professional qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience of providing insight and challenge to the business from a strategic and operational viewpoint.
- Sound self-management, organisational and co- ordination skills with an ability to work independently and in a team.
- Financial reporting skills.
- Financial analytics capabilities, high level of accuracy and Influencing skills.
